RansacKs Hatch Updated
Allrighty, A few month ago I posted pictures of my project hatch. I posted a few pics of what it started out as, like this:
Now after lots of more sanding, many coats of primer, heres what it is at now. There some more prepping now, but all that will happen when it hits the booth. I gotta sand the inside of the car, the door jams, and all the other fun stuff. Then one more big final sanding of the outside.
Im probably gonna get rid of my sidemarkers and do the 94 CX hatch look. That or JDM ones. And then im also getting Spoon mirrors. oh yeah, im also getting new fenders. as you can see, there fubar
but here the currrent pics.
For those who wonder why im doing it this is one, the paint job was shitty. Nice from far, but far from nice. bubbles, drips everywhere. It was like it when I got it. I decided to do the body work myself to learn how to do it and its getting painted FOR FREE. I have to prep.
The color I have choosen right now is Titanuim Pearl.

the fubar fenders? If its the fenders you talking about, the passenger got messed up in a minor accident

thanks and yeah I know. I looking into a Si Cluster, but I went with that back in the day. hehe it was cheap and I need a tach. oh well. it will be gone soon enough

I meant from the last time I saw it at the tracy meet... I had the white EG in the group there with tonyxcom and Cre18...

don't stray tooo far from the silver color you are going to do.... if you needed to re-shoot something later on, it would be a bitch to match...

yeah it sure has made its progress
Its been a fun and dreaded project car. I really wish it didnt become sort of a project car, but thats how it went oh well!. thanks for props guys

very good progess but please before you get it painted just wait and get a 99-00 front IMO it looks 100x better and plus i cant stand those 96-98 fornts

I thought about it, but I like the 96-98 style better. If cash is right, im doing the SiR Conversion. but if not, ill stick to this. I like my SiR lip more then the conversion.
