Polishing lips on my wheels??

Default Polishing lips on my wheels??

I have a set of rims i just got with a nice lip.. but i was wondering is there is any way to give the lip an extra high polish shine.. something like this one..

I dont think simply waxing them would give you that high polish mirror look.

ROFL you call that a lip... jp but i use mothers mag polish very good stuff. you should we sand it first, like 600,800,1000,1500, then 2000 if you want it really nice. then hit it with the mothers mag polish.

That sounds more like something that would work... have you personally tried this before?? If so do you have any picsof your before and after?? Thanks.

well their not as blingin as those wheels you pictured. i can get them to that shine with the method i used. you just have to work at it more and i got soem lazy tired arms.

Be careful of what u put on your rims, esp. the lip. There might be some sort of clear coat that is put on the lip to give it that shine. If u use something that strips that off of it, they may come out looking foggy. I use Eagle 1 Never Dull on my work wheels. It works pretty well. Its like a can of cotton-like stuff with polish already in the cotton.

their Volk racing Artisan Spirits 15x7 -13.... well i guess you can put them on accords or preludes, bolt pattern is 4x114.3.

yea, like mentioned above, use Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish. It works great
