b16 problems.?
well i found a deal on a 89 crx si with b16 swap. so. i hear there are problems with b16 in general. the guy says the car has some wiring problems because it will"bog and then surge"after warm up. and the check engine light is on. he states that the motor has 40,XXX. any answers to this. because i dont want to buy a POS
Well, it could be a plethora of problems or something simple!
If he is willing to sell a car w/ probs.. thats probably because they are too involved or complicated for him to deal w/ ... I would run..
A car should have a certain level of integrity before buying it...
that car doesnt seem to be up to decent running quality... run for your life boyyyyeee...,

yea there is not really any problems with b16's in general when done right, id ask for receipts for the swap just to have an idea how how many miles it really has.. and ask the guy what is exactly wrong with it before you buy it, cause if he cant give a straight answer it either means he knows nothing, or he is just b/s you and wants to sell the car.
