anyone besides mugen make a twin loop muffler that is 2.5 in diameter and is good quality...i do not want some cheap *** thing that will rust in about a year...something stainless and quality
i believe mugen is actually 2.333(i think) in diameter - I have one and love it - but if I could do it over again I would go Hitech (which is 2.5) and slightly cheaper than mugen I believe (same style twin loop)- I would NOT go for that turbo (mugen style) I've seen on ebay

Quality is A+++++, sound is very similar from what I've heard - there may bre quite a wait for it, since (I believe) they are not mass produced - go here http://www.hytechexhaust.com/
I believe someone in the ITR forum has the Hytech(same as Hitech) header (around 1300.00 and twin loop exhaust) use search function - specify ITR forum
Go to http://www.konigwheels.com They have this copy of the twin loop. It's called the Mozart Evolution
Why twinloop? Your choices are then so limited.
I assume its for noise reasons, so why not an Apexi RS or WS, or RS*R? DC makes a twin loop, you could just mate that up to 2.5" piping.

whats - wrong with them is i believe that they are not close to the quality of mugen or hytech - and that they are axle back - your stock mid pipe will kill any HP gains unless you get a larger diameter pipe custon mide pipe that has mandrel bends - I not trying to preach mugen or Hytech but their exhaust are very good exhaust with a twin loop muffler - yes it is quiter and mine seems to add a sound that ONLY amplies the sound of the engine and on WOT or in VTEC and has a slightly deeper tone(actually above 4000 rpm in my car) I would apprieciate any owners of a mugen or hytech exhaust to express their opions on the sound.

i just got the Mozart axle back muffler deliverd to me today. it was MUCH cheaper than hytech or mugen that's for sure. it's 2.5" all around and the qualitly looks good. granted it's not a work of art like thhe mugen or hytech but it does look good, better than most other exhausts i have seen before and it fully stainless steel inside and out. i plan to have a custom 2.5" mandrel bent B-pipe made up at the same time i install the muffler. i'll keep everyone posted on how it is.
personally spending $1000+ on a exhaust is a little
considering the power to cost factor.

its quieter...
Most exhaust systems, either give -
* High performance/flow....but noisy (not everyone wants the added noise, I don't!).
* Low noise....but reduced performance/flow.
Twin loop gives you both high performance/flow and lower noise!!
Refer to the Mugen description of their 'Sports Exhaust System' - http://www.kingmotorsports.com/produ...gra/engine.asp
Hope this helps?

talked to hytech and they said it would be available in another month...the estimated price is between 300 and 400.00 for the muffler...the entire cat back systm is going to be about 800.00
$1300 for a B-series header? That's a pretty penny but I'm sure it's well worth it. You think they would make the twin loop cat-back exhaust in a 3" diameter piping? I would want that since I plan on dropping a turbo in my hybrid soon.
