Default HONDATA

i'm rebuilding the head right now and i'm thinking about going with Hondata instead of the Apex-i VAFC. I started to look at the different models Hondata makes, but i didn't know which one i should get....this is an N/A motor, no turbo....please help and give me some suggestions.

Thanks

s100 is perfect for you. get a p72, or another ecu that supports the iab's.

s100 or 200 would work in his case wouldn't it? If yu go with the N/A setup, I recommend the 3stage rev limit option and of course the data logging capability. I think it would be beneficial to hook up a computer to your car and know what its doing at all times.
Also, a P28 ecu should work too, but since your car is a 93 and OBD1, you might be able to keep your stock computer.

P28 ot P72 is good but you lose your IABs with the P28 which equates to around 10whp.

Unless your turbo charging your car... go with the p72 that controls your IAB's.

The p72 will lean out the motor without tuning. If you instal it dont get into vtec untill you get tuned!!!!!

NO! you should sell your p13, to make some money back.

Yeah, hondata would be way better than buying a V-FAC for $300-400..... That's about how much hondata will cost then, if you sell you ecu for about $100, you can put about $150 more with it and get a p72 ecu.

the p72 comes out of the GSR teg. i believe one of the reasons for using it is to retain the IAB function, along with all the other stuff like vtec actuation, im sure that there are reasons internal wise on the ecu for why it is compatible with the p72 vs. the p13. but my ? is would this ecu need to be used on an H22 that has no IABs lets say on one with an aftermarket IM, like the Skunk2 if it ever comes out?

i've got skunk2 stage 2 cams, cam gears, valve springs, retainers, B&M FPR w/ gauge, with a 9 or 10 lb. flywheel, and i'm thinking about an Exedy Organic clutch.
