ECU - The cars BRAIN! It's a computer in a pretty silver box under the kick panel on the passenger side of the car under the glove box.

Polished Head - This is getting your head ported and then they smooth it all out.

Vtec timer - you prolly mean vtec controller, so you can change your vtec accuation point.. dont **** with that

Okay, this time we'll get you some USEFUL information

I don't remember exactly what ECU stands for, it is either Electronic Control Unit or Engine Control Unit, someone here on the board knows that. Anyway, it monitors all the sensors in the engine and adjusts the engine timing and other things as it sees fit. Like he said, it is the engine's brain.

Polished head - polishing a head smooths out all the rough surfaces that air has to flow past. Which moves faster? Air moving over a forrest or air moving over an empty field? Moves faster over the field because there is less crap in the way to slow it down. same concept with the polishing.

VTEC Controller lets you change the RPM at which the VTEC system activates, and MIGHT also let you change your fuel mixture settings.
