Race Season Recap..........
Well, I have so many thoughts about the season now over and aspirations for next year I thought I would type them out.
First off. I have to thank Corey, George, and Bryan. These guys are the reason I was able to race this year. I have dealt with a few hardships this year, and well, do not think I could have turned some things around without friends like these.
Although I only raced at Summit and VIR I had so much fun it is hard to describe. I think one of the biggest reasons it was so much fun was because each every one of my competitors I talked to were unbelievably excited to have me racing with them.
My first raced ended with some frustration but Corey busted my *** and made me get back in it for VIR. I went to VIR. My dad showed up to watch for the first time. I went out and got to race Karl for a while and passed more people than passed me. I came off the track so happy I almost broke into a joyous cry.
As if just racing and finishing the first time was not good enough the ECHC guys felt I deserved the Hard Charger award for the race. That was the greatest feeling in the world. Hopefully I will win many more trophies but I know the first one will always mean the most. Thanks guys.
So i finish the series spectating and helping Corey out. I watched the competition get extremely intense and began to wonder if we could keep the ECHC ball rolling into the next year. I will not lie, I seriously had my doubts. When we all sat together at Summit I realized that the answer was yes, and a big yes. I believe Karl and Jason took off running with the ball and handed it off at full speed to John and Alex. Thanks again guys, really. You guys absolutely rock.
So what about next year. Well Corey has me all pumped up. We are gonna come out rocking and rolling next year. The Accord hopefully will be a H4 beast and contender. I have dreams of big things not only for myself but the series as a whole. I also hope to run other races and by the end of the year have a SCCA liscense.
So I would like to say thanks for the good memories and hope for 10 times more next year.

Cool deal Morgan looks like we'll get to race
Congratulations on your first season - I remember meeting you at the Jefferson HPDE what, 3 years ago? when we had the time trial (Nissan vs. Honda). And now here you are racing, while I am still struggling to get on with it. You've done great and showed that it could be done on a minimal budget. Thanks.

Morgan, we forgot to tell you the car has been repossessed due to back taxes owed, sorry!
They did allow us to get the window net, and the "HITT" decal off , though.

I figured you provided good support to ECHC by becoming "car owner" for the finale!

Dude, after seeing your excitement at VIR, I almost quit racing just to help you.. It was an extremly uplifting experience for me as well.. You helped me so much my first year, I only tried to repay what I considered I had "owed" you.. Seeing you shine at VIR was one of the best moments ever IMO too..
Accord will own H4 (yes, H4 next year)

That first day when we were doing testing I had so much fun. I stayed out for the first session until my tires got a little greasy............................. after 50 minutes on track. Boy time flys when you are having fun.
Seeing you (and fighting against you) at VIR was a lot of fun. Granting the Hard Charger award was a total no brainer...I fought you off for enough laps to know. You're driving that poor Accord within an inch of its life. Well done.
I look forward to H4 battles between the Accord and guys like Lyonel
