My friend just wrecked his 98 civic ex, he has his eyes on the 2004 base model rsx.

-Black rsx
-cloth interior
-5 speed

no extended warranty, no other bs, just the car. and no he does not want a type-s

what should he be looking to pay out the door for this car?

He mentioned that retail on the car was 20,570 and invoice was 18,805. He was thinking 19,500. Does that sound right or can he get a better deal? located in socal

 

for $19500 you can get base w/ leather. You should try finding a 2003 model because it's the year end and they give you much better deals. Not to mention they have 2.9% financing on 2003 models. As far as I know 2003 and 2004 models are the same maybe with heated mirrors in 04's.

how about a red 2002 type-s?

 

i wouldn't pay anymore than $19k

 

there are people that i know in the tri state ny area that walk out of dealers 21k including tax for 03 type s
seriously look better and buy an 03 type s
no point in paying the same thing for a base
and i know he said no type s
so buy a 03 base for cheaper
