Default removing trunk carpet

how do I do this?
here is an image.

i cannot get that black thing out because of the little plastic things that hold it in there, and i do not want to break all the plastic pieces. also there are plastic pieces in the trunk sides holding the carpet there.

btw, i need to do this to finish installing my dynamat.

.Lol, what are you trying to remove??? The thin carpet on the bottom just comes up if you pull on it, and the sides covering the shock towers are held in by small black circular clips, just pull on em and they come off.

Just get in there and look around, shouldnt take but a minute

the small black circular clips is what i am talking about, and i cannot remove them without breaking the piece, then it wont go back in when i try to put it back.

If I remember correctly, you need to push the center on the plastic IN. Then you will be able to pry/pull off the plastic piece off.
