Default Dilemma tell me what i should do???

im debataing on weather or not to get rid of my AEM CAI and get the comptech ice box. What do u think i should do??? and will i be losing or gaining ????

Get the Comptech. With the AEM setup, you have to worry about sucking in water and hydrolocking the motor. Performance wise, you probably won't lose or gain anything, at least not enough that you would notice. IMO, get the Comptech for a piece of mind.

I wanna get the Comptech, but everyone says it wont work with my AEM shortram :-( I think Ill still get it.

i tell u that u will notice a huge improvement in throttle response...when i had my aem cai i had to step on the gas pedal mad hard to go n e where...that **** was the worst..aem sounds nice when hittin that vtec yo!!..lol...but u will feel a lil loss in low end on the butt dyno cause of the aem hump...and the comptech is def quieter....i saw go for the icebox or the aem short ram with DIY piping leading the the air filter

same here.
throttle response is great IMO, (way better then a drop in K&N in stock box)

same here.

There is a ton of times i've been worried sick driving in the rain though. Dodging any type of puddle I can see in the dark isn't fun. I hated it. Im glad that sucker is gone, but it did have great response and sounded beautiful. I say go with Comptech so your comfortable and still get the same performance.
