Default d16y8 V-TEC?

i have a d16y8 in a 1996 civic HX , and i was wondering if this was a SOHC v-tec , or if it was a non-vtec , it doesnt say v-tec on the valve cover , i was just wondering , so thx

there no such thing as a v-tec but you do have a VTEC-E its a economy friendly motor and its made for gas milage and better for the enviroment.

Yeesh. Anywho, Y5s have great potential....just adding an intake is a lot of improvement.
