i jsut bought a 93 civic dx with 116k miles. i plan on getting a major 120k tune up. the car has a flood title, but everything seems to work ok for now. i have alot of questions and hope some of u type r guru's can help me out.
1: no front swaybear...? should i buy a aftermarket or stick with the stock ex swaybar/endlinks?
2: rear sway bar/front strut bar/rear strut bar, can i use the type R bars for this??
3:brakes, what aftermarket pads do i use? can i use the same ones as the ones from the integra type r?
4: shocks/springs, can i fit the gsr shocks with type r springs on the civic?
5: what kind of tranny can i put into it...a gsr/type r???
6: im planning on doing a engine swap, should i go with a gsr or a ls/vtec? or maybe even just a ls, since its cheaper.
7: anything i should worry about since it has a flood damage title?
8: add in any comments that will help me improve my car, or tips plz!!

damn...where has all the love went?? i remember back in the days no matter how stupid the question was people we're willing to help. now it seems like no one even bothers too anymore. btw ive been posting and reading on this message board since day one and have been a h-a.net fan for about a year until it went down hill.
wow you got alot of questions..i think instead of trying to swap out alot of integra parts..you can upgrade the stock with quality aftermarket..i think you can get better performing parts at decent prices..i know im not answering your questions..sorry...the only parts i would rec. would be the gsr brakes..front and rear..peace!

almost everything on the itr can be swapped over to your car.
try im'in jack (b18cxR)... He's done the whole eg/ itr conversion... And rodney on this board. They've both done everything from the spindle, 5-lug conversion, brakes, suspension and even interior and engine swap with the itr to eg.
Also, try the hybrid board for more info. I don't know too much about details - just that it can be done.

It is hard to answer all of your questions in one post. I guess the best thing is first develop a plan. If you plan on doing suspension work first, then just ask suspension questions. Then move to engine, etc. etc.
