Port and polishing a h22a engine

when i a port and polish a h22a engine with an automatic transmission do i need to anything else to make sure its running safe.
What are the things i need to when port and polishing????

huh ? . . . you don't port and polish an engine and whether the tranny is auto or manual has nothing to do with it.

Use Gunk degreaser.
