How do you reset the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light? On an 02 EX? Thanks!

isnt there a little button that can be pressed with your key?? It's right by the light in EK's, but Im not sure about the EP.

Yeah, you just reset it with your key (little black button)

my EJ is the same

 

no little black button.....the one time we took it to the dealer, they had to do some funky combination like put car in neutral, turn ignition to II, set trip to B, hold in 30 seconds, grab your nuts, squeeze tight 30 seconds, put car in park, turn key too off, etc. etc. etc. I just dont remember the process, and the dealers around here are bitches, I know if I called they would tell me to bring it in.

 

i have a 2001 civic ex and i have the same problem have you heard anything yet?

 

yeah I found out that you turn the car to Ignition II, Hold the trip set button in while starting the car, thats supposed to do it.
