whats the diff?
I don't recall the SIR-G having bumper lenses. That's a JDM vehicle and it only has the chromed version of the dc2r headlights. It possesses the same front end as the type r with the exclusion of the lip and the difference of the headlight version(chrome). Hope that answered your question bro.

sys3rror...thats not from an SiR-G... thats from the honda integra Si-VTEC. Correct me if im wron but in japan, the SiR-G was available from aug of 95 - aug 00. And it had the rectangular headlights.
below is a picture of a 95 sir-G
the only cars equipped with four round lights are the Si-Vtec (93-95) & Sir-II (95-98)....The SiR and SiR-G had rectangular chrome headlights.

NightRider-gsR, my understanding is that parts off the jdm 93-95 integra are called sir-g all the time. be it the lip, corners, cluster, or fenders, retailers like passwordjdm and others call them sir-g so i just follow that standard.
i understand that the "correct" term would be si vtec but like i said, i've always seen them labeled as sir-g.

You mean SiR-VTEC and the difference is the SiR ones have the amber insert piece inside the turn signal portion, whereas aftermarket clear bumper lights have no amber at all.

this should end all discussion now.

i know its too technical but still... SiR's never came with four round headlights.
and there is no SiR Vtec...it was Si Vtec.
SiR = SiR II = one piece rectangular chrome headlights.
anyways back on topic, the Si-Vtec had an amber insert piece as patrick mentioned. aftermarket clears are well, clears. all clear.

the pic posted by sys3rror are correct. the JDM SIR-G is the GS version of the USDM teg thats why no JDM front end. the higher end Tegs got the JDM front. i perfer the SIR-G front look. i have gotten the Lip and the fogs and going to pick up the corners this week. Its like the JDM fogs in the pic there are 2 different type of color fogs. Both glow in yellow but one has a clear and the other set have a yellow fog light, but as far as i know the clear ones are JDM and the yellow are from the Euro tegs but also a big demand in the JDM market cause of the start being Japan.. well as for the corners go for it they look sweet

incorrect, what NRG said is correct, I just messed up when I said SiR-VTEC, I meant just Si-VTEC.
Ever seen a J-spec 97+ base model Integra? I have, it had the chrome-housing 1-piece lights and a SOHC D16 engine. The 4-light front end was only used up thru 95 in Japan, and the one with the lip was the Si-VTEC.

Hey this looks alot like my car minus the rims.
Question about that lip/splash guard...
Is that stock? Mine has this too but I dont remember seeing it on really any other cars. Was this something just for 94?

There is no lip on that car, it's just the stock 94-97 bumper.

WHO CARES
my car is decked out with little JDM pieces, but who cares if the exact name is right or wrong, i probably have more SI/SIRG/SIRwhatever pieces in my car than alot of people argueing about the stuff right now.
*faint*

I care about technical stuff...so I care. So what if you have jdm this and that... the bandwagon is where you're at. or else im wrong and the way you fix your car reflects yourself.

tsk tsk tsk... SiR had the chrome rectangular headlights. the SiR-G was basically the SiR model which had superior trim / features than the SiR. For example, with (optional?) automatic, air-conditioning and a keyless entry. And to correct my previous statememts. both the Si-Vtec & SiR-II had four round headlights.

What is the difference between a JDM Honda Integra Si Vtec, SiR, SiR-G and SiR-II?
For the answer to this one, Eireann.org contacted Kusano, who runs a Honda SiR club in Japan. Despite his English being weak (though substantially better than Eireann.org's Japanese), he explained as follows:
All four models had the B18C engine (1.8 vtec), and suspension in common, which is possibly why English websites do not differentiate between them. There was a slight change to the ECU in 1995. There is also the differentiation of headlight style (square or round) and trim/features level.
Model===Duration=======Description
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Si VTEC----'93 May - '95 Aug---Equipped with four round lights.
SiR-II------'95 Aug - '98 Jan----Equipped with four round lights.
SiR---------'95 Aug - '99 Jul-----Equipped with square lights.
SiR-G------'95 Aug - '00 Aug----Equipped with the square lights.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Type R has a unique spec encompassing a hand-finished engine, thinner windscreen and other weight reduction.
The Honda Integra SiR-G is known as the Acura Integra GS-R in the States, although they are not entirely the same spec - the States model has a different version of the engine (B18C1) which has less power than the B18C.
