shaking wheels on stock 93dx coupe
Has anyone heard of this happening --- ?
Since putting stock wheels back on my 93 civic coupe I've noticed a very bumpy ride coming from my wheels. I asked a friend to look at the wheels when I was driving and he noticed that they looked like they were shaking.
The wheels are on securely and lug nuts are tight. They are not overtightened. I had 17" rims with low profile 205 40 17z-rated tires on the car for a while but since I'm selling it soon I switchedback to stock. I have noticed though that the lugs do not point out straight from the wheels -- this concerns me most -- I assume this to be the root of the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it, what's wrong, or how much it will cost. Since I am selling the car and it is in great condition otherwise, I would like to fix this but for the lowest price possible.
Please, any suggestions or explanations will be appreciated.

Make sure you tighten the wheels while they are off the ground to assure they are flush with the hub. If you've done that and theres still a prob. it's b/c your wheels need balancing.

some rims come with little rings that go around the middle of the hub. they usually go on the front front hubs, between the wheel and the hub.

ya, could be a number of things: unbalanced wheels/tires, warped tires, improper lug nut torque, no hub-centric rings, put on unevenly.....
I'll look to see if I forgot to take those rings off. The rims I had did use those and its entirely possible that I may have forgotten to take them off. Thanks for the insight. I don't think its the wheels/tires, I've had two sets on, same results.
