Read the reviews on Tirerack...Sumi's are HORRIBLE in the rain I hear...

Targa250R holds his 711's in high regard...i'd go with those

I was running 711's on my 16's. Never a problem.

...and I have all types of weather conditions in WA.

i'm running the sumi's now they aren't too bad in the rain, i've also run them in snow and have been pleasantly surprised at how well they did. they've been on the car for well over a year now and i'm happy with them.

i read the reviews and sumi got 7.8 for wet condition and kumho for 7.6. other reviews are very similar and for price, sumi is $7 more expensive than kumho.

I got some kumbo 716's to use as my winter tires, and they have REALLY good, wet and snow traction for the price, I paid $33 per tire. awesome winter tire. Not sure what size you need, but mine are 185/60/14

Go for the Kumho 712 they are really nice. I love them I'm on my second set. They are great, I have pushed these tires in wet and dry. Tire rack normally has a good deal on them too.

711 is a great street tire that can easily be used as an all-season (has a 320 treadwear). However if you're looking for mucho grip at the track look elsewhere.

I'll have another set of sticky tires for track and i am looking for street uses now.

will 215/65/15 be too tall? 215/50/15 will look better since it'll sit lower? or 65 will rub the wheel fender if you lowered about 1.75''?

what kinda car are these tires for? the 65's would be way too tall, with a 1.75" drop i would go with the 215-50's have u considered going with a 205-50-15?

yea I wouldn't get the 711's if your going for performance. I have the 712's and they aren't even all that great for dry traction . I'll be getting azenis next

Nice. Do they use the smaller diameter tire, or stock size?

I'd be willing to bet the smaller size..I know bauley is using the smaller ones.

another vote for the 711's. I'm on my second set and love them. I've got 205/50 15's now and had 195/50's. I preferred the 195's. A great all season tire that is dirt cheap
