Default Questions on distributor plug for 96- up

I working on a 97 civic hx coupe and I just installed an ls/vtec motor in it. I am using the obd2-obd1 conversion harness. I'd like to know if I need to convert the single plug from distributor to 2 plug like the obe1 harness. My problem right now is I'm getting a code 41 (o2 sensor). On the 97 hx harness, the primary o2 has 5 wires going to the sensor and it connects to a 7 wires on the engine harness. Did anybody have this problem before? please let me know if you have any info or advice you can give me. I really appreciate it. Sorry for a long story.

use the obd2 harness and use the obd2 distrubutor plug.

If you have a OBD1 distributor, then swap out guts froim an OBD2 so you have the 1 plug dizzy

Make sure to use the dist shaft that goes with the distributo you're using

I am currently using the obd2 harness and the obd2 dist. plug. Does anybody know how to wire the 5 wires from hx o2 sensor to a 4 wires so I could plug up the 4 wire o2.the o2 is brand new.

just rewire it to 4 wire (harness side of plug)

using obd2 to obd 1 jumperharness you retain ALL OF THE STUFF IN THE ENGINE BAY....no need to change anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just plug in new ecu and jump harness and go play

OK, I had it re-wire to 4 wire and I still get the code 41. But it seems to run good. At first, I hear some misfire when it was open header but as soon as I got the header hook up, I don't hear it anymore but still have the code. Thanks for the advice.

Do you think I'll be getting a code for the secondary if I'm using the obd1 convertion harness and obd1 p72 ecu? I don't think it would but I'm may be wrong. That's a good one
