What fuel set up and ecu are you running?? A friend is breaking in a 12.5.1 B18C1 right now on a stock gsr computer and VAFC and its idling just fine.

yeah once you tune it you will be fine, your gonna have to lean it out at idle. I would set the idle to around 900 - 1100rpms. Good luck. You should be fine.

The motor now has close to 800miles and has not been floored yet. Its all personal preference. IMO your rings seat with in the half of an hour of normal driving. So use your own break in method. Also there is a stock computer with a vafc so im hesitant about really beating on it with it being tuned. Once again Good luck!!
