Like the title says. 98 R. I thought the CEL light was supposed to flash the CEL code when the check connector is jumped. Instead my ABS light shows the code. Do I have a CEL, or a brake problem? Codes 54 & 81. I don't see an 81 code on C-Speed's site, what is that?

I reset the ECU, CEL is off. This occurred on the first test stop after bedding fresh brakes on all 4 (bedded, cooled, then went for a real test). Plenty of fluid. 100-5mph in ABS on semi-wet pavement.

I also noticed SRS flashed once after power up in check mode, then stayed on. Is this normal? After clearing the ECU, it came on for a few secs, then stayed off.
