gsr has pentroof style chambers which are superior to the b16 head and give more compression

also someone told me about the angle of something with a gsr head which causes it to flow better.

well first the GSR head will raise your compression and little and flows a little more CFM then a B16 head stock to stock. here's a flow chart to prove it.

It mostly depends on the intake manifold that you want to go with. I think the GSR manifold is junk for 2 reasons. 1) The actual design of it and how it doesn't have straight runners to the head like a b16 2) it's has secondary butterflies. get a frankenstein (B18 with b16 head) and you have a poor mans type R. Your decision on what you want to go with just thought I'd share some facts

some people say that a b16 head will flow better, but that a gsr head will be faster at the track. I don't know why, and have asked, but nobody has answered

Does anyone have a fully reworked b16 and gsr head flow comparison? Im tired of everyone posting up what the two heads can flow in stock trim.
