My 92 Integra idles funny, and i think its because i took out the resonator? If I blimp the throttle the rpm will go up and drop to 200 or so and feel like its about to stall, but climbs back up a bit..Sometimes the needle will fluctuate between 750-500? Not sure aobut the numbers since the tach isnt accurate before 1000.
And i would say that the engine shakes abnormally when idling.

Also, I over tightened the TB cable once..and started the car.. it revved and just died..so I loosened it till the TB closed but still tighter than it was in the first place... I'm thinking about loosening the cable all the way just to see if tightening the TB cable was the cause of the problem..

I've read about IAC valve..and TPS..and using carb or brake cleaner to clean the TB?

It can't hurt to clean stuff out. Then find out how to adjust base idle (the details might be different for your 2nd-gen vs. my 3rd-gen).

 

your cable caused it to mess up the setting. just take out your ECU fuse and reset the settings.
