How close are you to Ft. Wayne, IN? The reason I ask is bec/ there is a shop here downtown called Independent Honda. They specialize in Hondas/Acuras, they'll do a swap for you. One of the guys is my friend and I talked to him about and he was going to do it for me but I can't afford it and I'm looking to get an RSX-S or a TSX anyway. But if you're close to Ft. Wayne, let me know and I'll give you the info on where he's located.

This info is helpful, I'll need 8 hrs drive to there, but it's ok for me. May I know how much and more info about it? Thanks.

I think he's probably from Ames, IA (since that's what it says under his user name).
IA=IOWA
And if you don't know where Ames is, try http://www.mapquest.com
And I'd be willing to bet you're from Janesville, Wisconsin

j/k guys

Just for the couple new guys here, the user's location is usually right under their name on the left.

Brian

What exactly are you wanting to do as far as a tranny swap? Do you have a tranny already? do you not trust a local shop to swap it in there?

Audio Plus in Ames has done 2 or 3 swaps into cars..I am sure just a tranny swap would be something they could handle as well...

I trust them, but usually they are expensive. I just talk to them today, but not sure when I could get reply. Maybe tomorrow or this weekend.
