Default Prelude mid-engine Mini vs. Lotus Elise

The latest Road and Track pretty much wet their pants with joy regarding the Lotus Elise. What caught my eye was the 1/4 mile time, 12.0sec flat! This from a roughly 2000lbs (test weight) car with 200hp. But back when I asked here how my Mini would do, you guys guessed mid to high 12's. I feel cheated!

Here's the specs:
1650lbs fully loaded race weight.
80" wheelbase.
Mid-engine 200hp H22A obviously driving rear wheels (60% weight at rear).
225/50-13 sticky street tires.

Was R&T's test overly optimistic, or can I expect my Mini to be faster than 12.0?

Yeah, yeah, I know, "just go drive it," but it's not quite ready for the strip yet...

You're lighter, and have more torque. Assuming you can hook, you should be faster/.
