Default Help with Front Brakes

91 Accord 2 dr. Replaced front rotors, new pads, rebuilt calipers. Found front left to be dragging, could feel heat from rotor. Replaced caliper with rebuilt and put on new front left rotor (in case first one was warped.) After change, still found to be dragging, can still feel heat from rotor. Right side has never been a problem, runs cool. On left side, pads seems to fit into caliper mounting bracket ok. Any ideas why the front left caliper is not releasing, following application of brakes? New brake hardware was provided with caliper. Is there a need to clean out the mounting holes in the caliper mounting bracket, to insure free movement of the caliper? I'm stumped.....any help is appreciated. Joe

Default Re: Help with Front Brakes (Joe 91 Accord)

did u check the slider pins to see if they were not moving freely. take the pins out and and clean then and regrease them. sometimes dirt gets inside them and it makes the slider pins get stuck. try that maybe that will work. and when yrou done putting everything back together make sure the caliper moves freely
