I would like to have a moment of silence, but on the internet, it's almost always silent....

so following the unbelievable events today, in prayer for those in the World Trade Center, 266 on the AA flights, Pentagon, NYC and surrounding areas, NY's finest, NYC firefighters and EMTS, our NYC Honda-tech brothers and sisters....

A LOT of people died today....

Whatever religion you are ....keep this thread alive and give them all a prayer and let them know we are praying for them !

POST A PRAYER OR MESSAGE ! God help them all !!

You can only imagine what bush and congress plan to do about this.
Everything is just standing still in this town. Nothing happened in class today, just the class watching this in television.

Its going to be a while before anyone has a clear idea on what the repercussions are going to be like. When the party that is responsible for this is found, I take pity on them for what is going to happen to them, this aggression w/ not stand.

One more thing. I think everyone needs to realize the loss of life that is imanent.

May God rest the souls of those people who lost thier lives today and help thier families.

First, they need to confirm who is responsible and then all Hell will be let loose on them. I kinda find it peculiar that in every bombing, you have like 3 organizations that jump up and claim responsiblity. So far noone has come forth, and some have come forth to deny any responsiblity. Bin Laden's group is the prime suspect. But so far whoever did it is is too chicken to even fess up 'cause they know they are in for a world of hurtin'!

I dont have much to say. But I am glad I dont live in NYC anymore. Unfortunatley my parents insist on living there. I knew the day would come when terrorists would strike the area, but I NEVER expected somethimg like this to happen......

 

At 8:30am this morning, I was in a meeting in my office on Wall Street (2 blocks from the Wolrld Trade Center). We felt the first plane hit and saw billowing smoke pouring out of the WTC. Not really knowing what had happened, we weren't going to let a little smoke from our mission of making money. Then I felt the second blast and went to my window and saw the flames billowing from the second crash site. This got us a little nervous so we turned on the radio and decided to postpone our meeting.

After calling my parents and IMing a few friends (LIP being one of them), I left my building and started to walk home. About 4 blocks later I hear a third blast and see and hear thousands of screaming people running from the WTC. Then this wall of smoke and papers starts to engulf every inch of downtown NYC. It was like being in a scene from Godzilla. The experience was almost surreal, I felt as if I was dreaming the whole event. I was in a state of shock. After walking for 25 minutes I finally walked to the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. I looked back at Manhattan and it looked like an A-Bomb had blown up Manhattan. I then realized my entire suit and face were covered in soot. It has been a Pretty ******* Freaky Day.

I'll definately say a prayer for all of those who lost their lives today. I'm sick over all of this.

 

I am damn nearly speechless about this whole thing! It sickens me, angers me and scares me all at the same time. What about the Pentagon!?! WTF! What happened to Nat'l Security!? For gawd-sakes, it was the Pentagon, our military hub! And they said they had no intelligence on this. How does that happen? Some food for thought.

God bless everyone, alive and dead! All of our lives have just changed.

 

Even watching the events on television do not justify the experiences that you guys in Manhattan were experiencing. It was just terrible to watch people going into shock and even one person caught falling off the building.

Indeed, this was an odd day even for some of us in the SF bay area.

A prayer for all that were affected by this event.
