Default Spinning ball joint!! Help!!!

I'm 95% done with my tranny swap and now I try to put the caster nut below the lower ball joint that attaches to the control arm and the threads are spinning! I can't get it to move!

Any suggestions? Don't have airtools though I'm so frustrated, I may buy some.

Also, I can't get the bolts that hold the strut into the same lower control arm. This isn't as serious of a problem as i figure I can have my roommate hold it down to pop it in, but anything is helpful.

the ball joint need to be under compression to be tighten down. so all you do is jack up the lca and ball joint and then tighten down castle nut
