Default Steering wheel/turn signal problem/dilemma

I seached, let's start with that...

The problem is self explanatory based on the pictures, although i can't figure out "what" is wrong with this:

This is the turn signal lever and the little white bracket/switch is supposed to go back to normal to turn the signal off, after making a turn...

Now, this white piece you see there with some "track" marks is what makes the turn signal "bracket/switch" go back to normal...it is not....

This is that white piece rotated, to see where it should lock with the lever's bracket and switch the lights off, well i can move this white piece with my fingers...lol...i would imagine i shouldn't /it should be glued or something...maybe not...not sure

So, what should i do guys? Has anyone on their 5th gen or 4th gen(if similar) had this problem? if so, what did you do?

I am getting a little irritated about this silly problem, i would take the whole thing apart and see, but i haven't/never done a steering wheel replacement, or such.

So, i come here to see what you guys recommend. Thanks and waiting for suggestions/recommendations.

Mod, if this has been talked about b4, direct me, i just couldn't find sh* about this.
