Default New Personal record for my Eg/GSR tonight!

I've run 9.4's in the Hybrid a few times and ever since I installed the Tein SS coilovers and Rota's I've been wanting 9.3's....

Finally got there tonight:

RT - 0.831
60' - 2.380
MPH - 77.84
1/8th - 9.357

93 Cx gutted behind the front seats
98 GSR motor with AEM c/a/i

A friend also set a PR in his 03 STI. 8.484 with a 1.8? 60' His $hit flies!!

I'm getting a Mini DV recorder this week and will have some vids for you all......

No 1/4 here. Sucks!

nice time! I think your friend w/ the STi can hit a 8.2 in the 1/8th. But he has nice 60' times.

thats a good start. some more practice is needed to run ideal times.
your 1/8 mile you did, would be a low 14 second 1/4mile. 14.1-14.0

White hatch with gunmetal 16" Rotas. They probably looked black in the dark. Del sol seats and nothing behind the seats. Has "Honda-Tech.com" stickers on the back 2 side windows. I had the only Eg white hatch there What were you driving? There were a lot of SC plates there. The one that I remember most is the white EG coupe with the CRVtec swap. Also, a silver EK hatch came out late. I don't care for body kits, but this car looked pretty good. Maybe it was the H.I.D., but I spoke with the guy and it had an LS swap running 10's in the 1/8th. He wasn't very happy. When I left at midnight he was running constantly.

I heard that Road & Trac's best pull in a stock STI was 8.5 in the 1/8th. He was very pleased with the 8.4 Cat-back exhaust is in the mail right now for the STI. He want's 7's when it's all over

What are ideal times for an Eg with GSR and c/a/i? 2 of my buddies have Eg/GSR's and can't get below 9.5
I'm guessing slicks would knock the 60' times down noticeably.

djmatix was out there in his boosted coupe and the guy announced one run that I heard 9.2 It's a boosted b16 and I think it must of been a bad run.....I was expecting 8.8 or so.....

Here's his car at NOPI:

Here's what he said about the dyno: I put down 277.38 horspower @10psi with it at NOPI. Won 3rd place in the 4cyl/rotary forced induction horsepower contest

Pretty decent times You should be able to hit a high 8 with that setup no problem, keep working at it.

Damn, I thought 9.3 was about the best I can see.

How are you doing 8.71 in a b16? Must be modded to hell! Do you have any vids? What are the mods? That's 2-3 tenths slower tham my friends 03 STI

Intake, header, exhaust, and chipped ecu were the only mods. With a 75 shot it went 8.30's at 87mph

What chip did you use for the 75shot? Did you adjust timing? What kind of fuel?
Thanks

Thanks! Yeah, that's on 16" Rota C8's with full 32PSI

I don't see how you are pulling an 8.71 N/A with header, exhaust, and a chipped ECU with a b16 Not saying you haven't. Have you dyno'ed your ride N/A? A guy in town who also posts on here had a gutted Eg hatch with LS / boost and ran 8.8's......

It dynoed 151hp so it's about normal for a B16. Just alot of people underestimate the motor because of the lack of TQ

Are you consistently running 8's? How do you launch? Are you on slicks? If a b16 can do it, a GSR should be able to as well.....

I would love to hit 8's as it sits now. I may even get some slicks.

Usually 8.8-8.9. If the track is prepped 8.7's. I just launch and feather the throttle and clutch since every time I run the track surface is different. I run on Nitto's, no slicks Yeah if you work and just drive your car more you will get into the 8's i'm sure. I knocked 2 tenths of my time this year by just driving my car more at the track.

If you drop down to 15" and some slicks, you just might drop your time.

Yeah, I saw Shaun driving the red Eg coupe a few times. I thought I heard vtec when it ran but was not sure. That was my best on 13" steelies when I had the GSR (9.4). That green coupe needs some slicks so we can see it's full potential
