Did a change on tranny fluid today, instead of taking out the fill bolt, I fill it up from the top of the tranny VSS hole, ready to put it back on together, this sucker snap and broke .............**** happens. btw doesnt anyone here have an extra one that needs to sale out, I also can I you other VSS, mine is a 93 civic sohc d series. thanks

by the way I think I need the whole thing, which including the gear, because the vss that bolt on to the tranny that part broke, and Can I still drive the car? would tranny fluid leaks from there?

 

yeah, if I had to bet fluid would come out...

I mean hell, you put fluid IN there....fluid can obviously come out what with the gears sloshing around at speed and what not.

 

mine is SOHC d series tranny, can I use one from Dohc b series tranny?

 

Not sure if the B will work, but if you think about it, your differential is spinning right below that hole. Can't imagine it NOT spraying some out. But you can use any VSS from 92-95 D series. Same thing.
