Well, basically i am allowing myself to spend 10k on a honda and whatever else i can get.
can i get some advice on how to spend this, in order to having the fastest 1/4 mile time?

so far i have researched it enough and decided i will do the following:
buy a civic dx with b18 I/H/E-5000
buy 75 shot -500
custom turbo (t3) -1200
engine build up (pistons gaskets cams rods etc) 1500
ECU fuel managment tuning- 2500?
and run mid 12s..

what would you guys do with 10k?

I dont think so, you can get the rods and pistons for that price but the cams,gears,springs and retainers will be another 1500+ and then the gaskets and labor unless you do it your self.
Dont forget fuel management and tuning

 

buy a stock civic... $200
b16a....$1500
put about $3000 in the engine build up, spend another $2k on a turbo setup, run 20psi and be done with it.

 

10k... that a good down payment on a EVO 8 or a STI

 

Buy a 1974 MGB GT, "last year of chrome bumpers" fix it up, build up thee suspension and drop in a 12A rotary.

 

I would finish building my 93 rx7

 

Buy an old Mini Cooper n drop in a B16...now THAT will haul *****

but the new mini cooper has more hp than a b16

 

i change my mind. i would buy 100 taiwanese hookers and some weed and a couple hand guns and spend the other $9599 on my car.

Yea but the old one is lighter, and looks way cooler

Personally, i hate the new Mini Cooper, ive only seen 1 nice one and i still didnt like it that much. The old ones look soo fun to drive

yeah they do look fun to drive-especially after watching the italian job

built jdm k20... if i had anything left... jdm front end, sideskirts and rear bumper... new paint inside and out... jdm tails... recaro srds... jdm type r steering wheel... hids... **** man i could go on forever

 

Buy a Nissan S13 240sx with blown engine. Then swap in a RB26dett with Rb25det RWD tranny.

 

I would get a 92-95 cx hatch, and drop a built turboed h22 in it. If I had any left it would be for tiens, and wheels/ tires, then paint exc... Ryan
