Default Setting TDC on crank

Hello guys.

If you still have the crank pulley on teh crank, how do you set TDC? I know there are marks on the crank pulley you can go by as well as the pointer. Do you just set the mark for 0 degrees to the pointer and that equals TDC?? Thanks

Danny
