Default Blew my head gasket have many options give me your opinions

ok well the other day my car overheaded and then today i refilled it with fluid and drove it around and when i got back after 5 mins of sitten it started to smoke white smoke like crazy. it was a sweet smell so i know it was my headgasket also the car didn;t want to start after i turned it off. stock dx d15b is currently installed.

my options.

replace with stock headgasket and keep stock head on the car.

replace with stock head gaskest and install a y8 head i have laying around.

install good headgasket designed for boost but would be for a d16z6 and use the y8 head.

im going to be rebuilding a d16z6 its already torn down but needs completly rebuilt. the d16y8 has a spun bearing but the head is still good.
the d15b was thought to be in good shape but now has a bad headgasket. what do u think i should do. also if i get a good headgasket can i use it with the d15b and y8 head and then pull it off and use it on my built d16z6? or would i need a new headgasket to go with the rebuilt d16z6?

thanks

what you do with the head is up to you. my 2 cents on the head gasket is. OE all the way. i have nuked 2 engines. never popped a headgasket.

Check to see if the head is warped, it might be since you overheated it. And don't reuse head gaskets, don't want you to have to pull of the head again cuz you messed something up reusing it. Just do it right the first time so you dont have to do it again. For boost I would go with the d16. Do you have everything you need in order to put the y8 head on? There's more to it than just pulling the old head and putting that one on. Just get that z6 redone so you can do it all at once. My 2cents.

well the head off the d15b doesn;t matter. i have a y8 and a z6 head laying around but i don;t want to use the z6 head because its totaly tore down and the y8 head is still on the y8 block.

im know leaning twards just changing the stock headgasket and pulling the turbo kit and running the civic completly stock till spring. im just pissed cause i have only been driving this thing for about amonth and i already have to pull it apar.
