Default My friend can't decide on which set of adjustable springs...suggestions welcome

Myfriend just got a 2000 SI, and he's looking into some adjustable springs. Maybe even a complete coilover set if the price is good enough.

The brands he's looking into are: skunk2, neuspeed, ground controls, and maxspeeds.

What do you guys suggest is worth the money.

Thanks for the help guys

i have tokico illuminas and neuspeed race springs, the ride height is perfect and the shocks ride great, plus they are 5 way adjustable.

I would go with the Ground Controls (they use Eibach springs) and a good set of struts (Tokico, KYB, Koni).

If money was no problem, I would be looking at Tien's, DTM's, Tanabe, & Apexi. If money is a big factor, like it is for most of us, I would go with Ground Controls sitting on Koni Yellows. .02cents.

I'd go with Skunk2 coilovers and Tokico Illuminas.

Otherwise if the price is right and you want a full coilover setup, then the Tanabe or Neuspeed or Apex full coilover setups are good too.

ground control with the screw-tightened-perches...
MUCH recommended, high quality, very user friendly, very high resale value, very good customer service, very upgradeable too..

I've got the OBX kit for an Integra in my 96 Civic Coupe EX, springs are 450 in the front & 650 in the back. We switched the front and the back springs. This will help get som understeer out of your car.

Thanks for the help guys

You can get the Neuspeed coilovers direct from Neuspeed for like $800 right now. They are built around a custom Billstein shock with a shortened rod, so they won't bottom out. From what I've heard so far, they're very good...

i had a 00 si with the tockico illumina's with the the skunk2 integra spring rates the springs seemed to overwhelm the shocks it was quite bouncy id recommmend a set of custom groundcontrols with a set of bilstens my friend has them on his type r wiht 550r-500f spring rates its awesome even better than his tein setup plus they are non adjustable which makes them easier just install and go
