Default d-series & b-series

heh, u probably thought this was another d-series versus b-series thread...

well, i just got a quick question, i wanted to know if the d-series flywheel bolts are the same as b-series flywheel bolts? would i be able to use b-series flywheel bolts on my d-series engine? thanks in advance.

You can use the bolts, but not the flywheel..

i know the flywheel won't work because the b-series flywheel has an 8-bolt pattern and the d-series flywheel has a 6-bolt pattern.

how sure are u that the bolts will work??

No, but a little FYI for everyone. The del Sol flywheel even though it's a civic motor is smaller than the civic flywheel. 200 mm versus 212 mm. I found that out the hard way. Damn honda :-P

The bolts themselves will. Same bolt pattern.
