hey guys, my stock VX (dont know the engine number...dont care really) was acting up today on the way back from my school offices. It would just slightly jerk in all gears up until about half throttle then it would act normal. it has done this before but not as bad. it got worse at times (more jerky) and less worse at other times (less jerky... duh) and the little green arrow would come on too whenever i was over like 3000rpms, except in 5th. it has a full tank of gas, just filled. any ideas as to what it would be would be very helpful. o yea, im running VERY rich, got some bad sensors and have failed emmissions inspections multiple times. any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!! thanks!

 

The green up arrow is the shift light.

Do you mean hesitate, or are the rpm's jumping?

 

yea hesitates bad. yea i guess its the shift up light

 

any ideas?

 

Have you changed the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs/wires, dist cap/rotor?

Overdue basic maintenance can cause the car to hesitate.

 

Also, do you have any CEL's?

 

yea, bad LAF (linear air fuel ratio sensor, no one seems to know what it is or where it is but thats what the helms manual calls it) and bad #1 piston position sensor, but theyve been on since i got the car, and it hasnt done this. yea reg maintanence is probably due. im bring it in soon to get work done on it so i can get an emmissions waiver.
