Default Exhaust for 4th gen

My exhaust = messed up

I know I need a new exhaust system but I have not gone under and looked at it to see exactually where there is a hole. I was wondering what are some systems that you guys on here would recomend for a 4th gen SI. Can't be too loud and annoying and has to pass emissions. Suggestions??? Good luck with any???

GReddy SP-II . Straight-through muffler, deep mellow sport sound. Fully-Stainless steel.

I would say Apexi N1, but I think it would be too loud for what you are looking for.

I have N1 in my 4th Gen and I like it, it passed smog and emissions. I'm not too sure bout the loudness test though....

Yea, I was looking at GReddy but I can't seem to find it in the SI version, only the gen4 VTEC. Anything else??? Affordable????

You might want to consider the Apexi WS - it's only slightly louder than stock...note that only the muffler is stainless steel & the rest of the catback is steel

There arent many companies that make the exhaust exactly for the SI's...mostly for the VTEC's only...but simple modification of the flange will allow you to bolt it right up...i believe that the SI (H23) cat flange is a little wider than that for VTEC (H22), so you just have to widen the flange and you shouldnt have any problems....i have a GReddy SP on my 4G SI and love it...other than greddy, i would go for RS*R ex-mag...completely sleeper look and really quiet...only for VTEC as well...check out their website for pics...i think its http://www.rs-r.com.

ktteller can get u just the piping and the muffler and a resonator (if u want it to be quiet which i would). all that **** shipped for like 300 or something.. take that **** to a muffler shop if u cant weld. granted greddy is nice but not for 600..

The most subtle systems i'm aware of are...
Apexi World Sport
RS-R
Tanabe hyper medallion

I've got a 2.5 inch custom catback with magnaflow muff and i tell you, i've yet to hear anything like it, its awesome. Its very deep and loud cuz the piping but not obnoxious because it has small tips. IMO, go custom with small tips and go regular 2.25" pipes and it will be quiet.
