Best Cams to use for Turbo LS
Whats up guys. I need your opinions and/or expertise in the area of cams for a turbo application. I want torun B18B1 in my hatch and drop a Drag 3 or some other turbo kit. I would like to know what is the best Cam to use for this application. I was checking out the Crower site and it suggested that the 62402 was the best cam for turbo setup. But the I noticed the 62404 pushed the most HP? I am not familiar with lift, duration etc.... so any help on this subject could be appreciated. Maybe even other cams?? Thanks

The best cam usually will say "turbo cam" or something to that effect. Other than that, stock cams work the best. I have the Crower 403's in my LS and according to Crower, there will be too much overlap for forced induction. I'm sure the 404's will be even higher.
It's complicated, give Crower a call, and see what they say. I know that cams that give you the most power aren't always the best for FI applications.

I asked the same thing last week, Most people said that the GSR cams are best for FI. Thats what I am planning on running when I get me Vtec head and turbo.
