Dude, why would you want to put a lesser mill in a better chassis. As for the price of the swap, im sure you can find a parts car at a junkyard. If I am not mistaken the H22 will bolt directly into the accord chassis.

not in the 3rd generations. the b-series is a motor easier swap. and powers the integra-like weighted car very quickly. rev to 9-10k in a 3gen accord...is sweet.

It would cost over $1,000 to put a B series in a 3rd gen, and much more if you want to put the H22 in there. There's a couple places that make the mounts for the B series but as far as I know nobody makes them for the H series.

So why did Honda put the h series into thier euro R accord?? If the b-series is soo much better in the accord why didn't honda do it?? Oh yeah, the accord is heavier than the integra. The reason they don't make mounts is the stock ones will work to swap the lude motor into the accord. My buddy did a swap into his 5th gen accord with an H22. Physically it bolted in but the wiring was a little tricky. Oh yeah, I wasn't talking about a b into the accord. I was talking about the H-series. If you don't believe an expierienced mechanic read the november 2003 issue of Sport compact car. This is all I have to offer you kids.

hahahha
you're funny
ok um. just in case you're not too clear on the whole thing, a third gen accord is one of the older, civic sized accords. it is about ten years older than any euro or type-r accord and they share absolutely no mechanical parts. that includes motor mounts. please open your november issue of SCC, mister experienced mechanic, and realize that it only deals with CB and CD chassis. no third gens.
if you dont know what you're talking about, KID, you really should research it first.

just so you know, the euro r and type r are nothing like the usdm accord...in fact, they are much smaller, if you can imagine a size in between a civic and an accord...and oh about your friend...he didn't use the oem mount on the driver-side, i can guaruntee you that...
