b16 pw0 into crx dx......no start condition
getting what i believe is a code 20 on the ecu. Is there such a code?
Engine wants to fire, but doesnt. I converted it from dual point over to multi. Right now i dont have the vtec sol., KS, or o2 #2 hooked up at the ecu. I dont think that would make it not start.
Any ideas?

that is electrical code I do believe. My car was throwing this code and it was because I grounded the engine wrong.
I would go back thru all your grounding points. If they have anythign on the end of them, sand it off.

Code 21 is the VTEC spool solenoid.
If you go here: http://www.acute.f9.co.uk/crx/...s.htm
They have the VTEC supplement download for free..
It comes in really handy for troubleshooting and has all the code definitions.
What is it not doing? check for spark, fuel pressure, injector pulse, etc..

Its code 20, not 21.
I got the car started....didnt realize the plug wires were swapped around.
So I now have a code 9 which is CYP. Im working on that. But Im still getting the 20 which i have no clue on. As said above I will try going over the ground points, but I know that isnt the problem.

ok there is a way to see if your ELD is working properly or not. First you need to know what is your ELD. It's in your fuse box on the passengers side in the engine bay. here's a pic
and how to troubleshoot it
and how to troubleshoot it
this doesnt help. Im doing a b16 swap and the green/red wire gets replaced by the knock sensor at pin b19.
Im gonna go crazy here.....need some help!

CODE 20 could be alot of things. Its such a "general" code if the ECU sees something is not right in terms of grounds, power, shorting, etc.
Since you say you have a DX, obviously, someone had to had converted it to MPFI. I'd check all the soldering make sure nothing is shorting out. I had a customer bring in their car that was getting a CODE 20, it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders.
It turned out to be the wires on Injector # 2 was shorting out to each other. ( He did a OBD0 to OBD1 swap himself.)
Needless to say I fixed the problem, but too bad he blew out the injector transistors on his JDM b16 ECU

Wiring is perfect, believe me. I spent about 6-7 hours alone re-wiring this car for mpfi and b16 conversion.
I know its cause the EDL red/green wire was replaced cause of the swap.
HOW DO I GET THE ALTERNATOR TO CHARGE AGAIN?????
