i came to this board because it was alot more informative than the other boards out there. ive seen this forum in particular go down hill from day one. what is up with all these 'look at my car' and 'where can i get brand x altezzas to fit my civic'. go check out the topics they post in forums like integra type-r. please you guys. post more **** like that. and use the search function. i know it sucks but its better than asking stupid questions a MILLION times. and if you just HAVE to show pictures of your car and HAVE to ask where to get stuff (regardless of what it is) do it in the proper forum.

beats me.... I am new to the civic forum, and there is a lot of trafic, most of it weak, but some is good stuff.. just hold tight and it will get better... we can only hope...

I totally agree, we have had way to many topics on the appearance of civics and not enough topics on engine mods. Our moderator just needs to start locking all of these. Though, I think the moderator has done a good job of keeping out dumb questions.

 

like you have something to complain about dxR hatch, you havent contributed very well anyways....

 

i think the moderator has been doing a pretty good job, not too long ago for a couple of weeks straight he locked up the retarded posts and posts that didn't belong here. it seems as if alot of new peeps are on the board and are very very uninformed about honda's and cars in general.

maxim_force does have a point... There's a freakin "Appearance" forum, go post crap like that over there. Leave the Civic forum to actual mechanical issues and questions.

But I would like to say that we shouldn't be so hard on people asking the same questions that have been asked before. If you think about it, without those questions there would be very little posting on the Civic board at all. Not to mention the fact that in bringing the question up again, we may find out that we were wrong before, or find out that someone else has more information that can help us. Or maybe it could be that we just never thought of it a certain way until it was brought up again.

Cut the newbies some slack. Every one of you (myself included) was a newbie at some point in the past.

 

Let them be newbies somewhere else then. No offense to the people who actually care about performace and technical questions, but seriously, if I want rice, I'll go hang around at ClubSi a little. The reason the Honda-Tech board was always such a good place (well still is in some forums) was because that's what it was, technical information that had a point. I honestly doen't give a **** about your new aluminum wing or Alteza lights, but your CTR cams and Vortec SC...now we're talkin'!

On a final note, PLEASE try out the search command. It does a body good

 

Need to differentiate between newbies and ricers.

Ricers, sure, kick them to clubSi, sure as hell don't want them around here.

But there are those who know little about hondas and the technical details of them, or need to be converted from ricers. THESE are the people we need to help and cut a little slack for.

ummmm, what do you think looks better, clear tailights or altezzas? i really need to know....im thinking of clear tailights with different color neon bulbs for the signals/parking/brake lights....also, how would blue neon undercarriage lights look? should i sell my spoon wheels for a set of chrome 19's? how do i paint my interior? should i get a body kit and if yes, which is the craziest looking one for my dx hb? how many stickers is too many? so far i have the roof covered (most of them, i dont have parts from the companies) and half of the passenger side (same). hahahahahahaha read this sucka....

This topic is covered frequently. In all honesty, if your not contributing to the "good posts" then your hurting the forum. If you see crappy threads, just don't respond, whether it be positive or negative. JUST IGNORE THE "RICEY" THREADS. THOSE WHO POST THOSE TOPICS NEVER STICK AROUND THE FORUM MUCH LONGER.
