Default OBX front and rear lower tie bars good?/bad?

I know OBX isnt supposed to be the best brand (Even I've had some plus and minus about them...); but imo were just talking about metal re-enforcement bars.....how bad could these "cheap" tie bars be? Under $50 bucks I think it would be worth the set.

to be honest, i had the obx rear lower tie bar for a few months. Couldn't tell you if they actually made a difference tho.

I eventually removed it in favor of the ITR rear sway bar. Wont go back to the lower tie bar from this point forwrd.

Is it not that it doesnt fit; its the fact that itll create under/over steer?

Does anyone else know anything like this....

Im still thinking about getting a set of these OBX bars....they cant be that bad of product....

oh yea they can be. DC sports is a well known/respected company and makes great products, except for their older style strut bars (the ones with the holes in them, and not the titanium one) They bend really easy. I personally would fork out a little extra cash for a better bar.

i have the obx front and rear upper strut bar and the rear lower tie bar... i had just the upper's on for like 2 weeks and noticed a good difference in cornerning and handling... then i put the rear lower tie bar on and notice'd the help a lil more.. IMO the 3 bars were worth the $150(all 3) i payed for them.. compared to paying $120-160 just for one bar like skunk2, mugen, spoon, etc....

well i dont know about cam gears, but something taking that much abuse i would want to insure the quality. what I was saying is bad are the dc bars. The holes they have make them weak and they bend easily.

I personally use a Benen 3pt strut bar (strut tower and firewall) much like the carbing but much less expensive. It is worth every penny though.
