i currently have a type r exhaust and i was thinking about getting a universal apex n1 muffler and weld that onto my existing type r b-pipe. will this be better than getting custom 2.25 piping with the universal n1? i wanted to weld it up to the type r muffler cuz its stainless steel, mandrel bent, and already 2.25.

 

itr b-pipe with the n1 is ok, but why you're at it, you might as well get a muffler shop custom mandrel bent 2.25, 2.36, or 2.5 pipe depending on what you want and have then put the n1 on that.
