Here is a direct link to my webpage which contains step-by-step instructions for installing the Type-R rear swaybar: http://www.geocities.com/bretq....html
Also, go to http://www.geocities.com/bretq/mounting_kit.html for my BSQ Type-R rear swaybar mounting/reinforcement kit (aka. BSQ kit).

stock GS-R swaybar mounts w/ ITR bar is a no-no, that is exactly what will make the bar tear out of the chassis, the fact that those bar mount brackets put the bar farther away from the chassis, therefore exerting more torque on the subframe.

This will help with the install, just go to the DIY page. As far as fitting get a BSQ or Beaks both will do the job. I personally got the BSQ.
Good Luck.

don't forget, the softer the springs, the more stress there will be on the subframe if a big swaybar is used.

daymn and I was just gonna get my ITR sway bar today too
I think I'll still get it with the BSQ kit but have you guys ever tried the SRR Lower Tie bar?
Should I also get the stock ITR bracket/bushings or an aftermarket ES one from autozone?
