Default cold air intake question

quick question i was going to buy a chrome cold air intake and my friend was telling me that chrome attrachs a lof of heat i never heard of this. would it make a difference to buy a chrome are colored intake let me know asap thanks guys

Chrome is for stunnaz.....strtypr25 knows about that...he has jdm bling bling under his hood.

yeah not enough really to make a difference...or i dont think AEM would make different colors...and btw chrome = polished right?

metal is a conductor of heat.

Youre far better with an aftermarket metal intake pipe than using the stock plastic tubing with all the twists and bends.
