clutch just sinks to the ground, B18B1 into EG
hey guys, ive heard of other people having this problem before, why when i put my clutch in does it just sink to the floor. The slave cylinder moves when its not bolted on but it wont puth the clutch fork, any idea why this would happen?
Re-bleed your clutch.
You can do this by loosening the 8mm bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and hooking up a clear tube to the nipple of it.
Get some DOT 3 brake fluid and remove the master cylinder reservior cap.
Keep that constantly filled up with brake fluid, and pump the clutch pedal.
Repeat pumping while watching the reservior (making sure it's full of brake fluid), and constantly do this until you see no air bubbles in the clear hose.
Once you don't, then close the 8mm nut, make sure the reservior is full of brake fluid and you're done.
See if you have pressure in the pedal.
