Default Looking to see if this type of tire will knock me out of class?

I have to get a set of wheels this year for my 13's. The only problem was I planned on getting a set on M&H slicks but someone told me that I would be bumped to DM. What type of slicks WOULD be allowed in my SM classs? I tried to look it up in the solo II classifications, but I didn't see a listing of rule for tires in the SM class.

well... you should be looking for DOT certified "R" compound tires... Hoosier A3S03's, Kumho Victoracers, and Kumho Ecsta V700's are all popular brands of tire for autoX. They can be found at http://www.tirerack.com

also, there are several other types/brands of R compounds out there from companies such as Toyo, Yokohama, and Hankook.
