It really depends. You have several options on which way you want to go.
If you want to use the OBD2 distributor and do no wiring changes or re-pinning of the distributor you can:
Use a 96-01 Integra engine harness, it will clip into the engine sensors and also to your EG shock tower harness.
Use your EG OBD1 engine harness, and use a D16Z6 distributor, that will clip right in. And depending on what model it is, you have to wire up vtec.
If you decide to use the EG harness with the D16Y8 obd2 distributor, then you can re-pin by following the diagram Jerry posted up top.
For wiring VTEC, please search around. It's very simple.

ok i already knwo about wiring up the vtec, thanks for the diagram on the dizzy wiring. another question, would i have to use a vtec dizzy or can i use the one from my cx motor? i ask this because it was replaced a few months ago with a new one and wanted to know if i can use it or rewire/replace the Y8 one.
thanks again guys
thanks again guys
It would be easier to also reuse your intake manifold or one from a Z6. The Y8 manifold doesn't have an IAT sensor built it and the IACV is different. You will also need to reuse your OBD1 injectors because the injector clips on OBD2 are different. They flow the same as the Y8 injectors so there would be no reason to wire up OBD2 clips and use the Y8 injectors.
