Default How much should Oem Bigger Brake upgrade cost

can someone just give me an estimate on how much it would be locally at a junkyard and how much i should pay someone online? this includes Civic Ex knuckles, and brake calipers from any civic or del sol 92+. the site says that it should be abs, but my crx hf isn't abs so does that really matter? also a 15/16" master cylinder. and i plan to buy some brembo blanks, earls stainless steal lines, and some hp+ pads from someone online. any other suggestions on what i should buy. thanks alot.

At the junk yard, I spent:

$40 = 91 EX MC with booster
$65 = 91 EX knuckles
$50 = 97 Prelude VTEC calipers/brakets (pair)

It is apparent that this might not be the exact set up you are after, but these give you approximate numbers.

Fastbrakes.com is also a good source for rotors, etc.

Good luck finding a 90-91 EX in the junkyard....

I found some a while back! Guy pretty much just gave them to me. I guess he didn't know the difference

so i assume that it doesn't matter that the calipers are for abs cars, just trying to check and make sure. or does the abs really have to do with something less caliper related but mc related. sorry, don't know much about that part of the brakes.

I think I paid $75 each for 91 EX spindles with rotors and calipers on them. It was a bit high, but I literally called about 25 junk yards that didn't have them, went to a few that said they had them only to find Si or DX hubs, then finally found the overpriced ones and just went for it to get it over with.

I skipped the MC and have yet to run in to a problem although it is on my to do list. So far the stock MC seems to be doing fine. The car brakes like hell on stock honda pads and $17 napa rotors. Oh my to do list is so long...
