Well I got my hondata up and running without the stupid 3,500rpm rev limit. The new chipped was burned with base fuel pressure at 43psi, which is a little low IMO. I used my B&M to adjust it lower, but at idle it doesn't seem to go any lower than 50psi, but when I give it throttle it drops DOWN to about 46psi. I thought this was kinda stange because usually the fuel pressure is lower at idle than under throttle. Also when I unhook the vacuum line it doesn't drop any lower either, only when I give it gas. The car seems to be driving fine, but I just wanted to check to see if this was normal.
I heard bad things about the B&M. I would get an AEM, VERY consistent. The fuel pressure should be at about 55 when you pull the vacuum line off (same as WOT). At idle, should be about 46 or so. The pressure SHOULD drop when you open the throttle butterfly. This is becuase the engine is trying to suck in air and the only supply is a tiny idle hole in the throttle body. Causing vacuum in the manifold to be at its highest. But when you open the butterfly, it lets all the air in through a large opening, dropping the vacuum pressure. That's why pullying the vacuum line simulate WOT. Also, depending on where you gage is located, it could be giving you a false reading. The closer to the fuel rail, the better
